Onto what went down in July ⤵️
🆕 New Release: Alpha version of the performance fix
The Alpha version of the NativeBase performance fixes is released.
We’ve built a Babel plugin: @native-base/babel-plugin. It increases the app’s performance by 2-3 times in the first render and 5-6 times in subsequent renders by generating a pre-resolved theme style at build time.

- Design System Meetup: First Edition
- Siddharth Kshetrapal Design expert with over five years of experience of working with industry leaders. He has been actively involved in developing design system guidelines, UI guidelines, and components.
- Tanisha Biswas UI/UX designer at NativeBase. She discussed about the very origin of design systems and busted some age-old myths about them.
