Onto what went down in July ⤵️

🆕 New Release: Alpha version of the performance fix

The Alpha version of the NativeBase performance fixes is released.

We’ve built a Babel plugin: @native-base/babel-plugin. It increases the app’s performance by 2-3 times in the first render and 5-6 times in subsequent renders by generating a pre-resolved theme style at build time.

Design System Meetup: First Edition

We held our first Design System meet-up on 3rd July 2022.

Guest speakers:

Siddharth Kshetrapal Design expert with over five years of experience of working with industry leaders. He has been actively involved in developing design system guidelines, UI guidelines, and components.
Tanisha Biswas UI/UX designer at NativeBase. She discussed about the very origin of design systems and busted some age-old myths about them.
